Job summary

G2 Legal is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join our Manchester office. You will manage defendant fast-track and intermediate-track claims, advising insurer and public sector clients on liability, strategy and settlement.

You will handle matters through negotiation, mediation and litigation, with opportunities to support and mentor junior colleagues in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX equivalent with 3+ years’ PQE.
• Strong experience in defendant RTA, EL and/or PL claims.
• Good knowledge of the CPR and insurance litigation.
• Confident managing your own caseload and client relationships.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercial, organised and proactive approach.

Title: Personal Injury Solicitor

Location: Manchester City Centre - Hybrid

A highly regarded Personal Injury team, ranked in Legal 500 and recognised as a top employer, is looking for an experienced Solicitor to join its Manchester office.

This is a great opportunity for a defendant insurance lawyer to handle a varied caseload across Road Traffic Accident, Employers’ Liability and Public Liability claims while working within a supportive and ambitious team.

The Role

You’ll manage your own caseload of defendant fast-track and intermediate-track claims, advising insurer and public sector clients on liability, litigation strategy and settlement.

You’ll handle matters through negotiation, mediation and litigation, with exposure to a broad range of complex casualty claims. There will also be opportunities to support and mentor junior colleagues.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX equivalent with 3+ years’ PQE
