Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Personal Care Teaching Assistant to support a SEN school in Northampton. The role offers flexible shifts from 1 day per week up to 5 days, Monday–Friday positions available.

You will assist pupils with personal care and learning, working closely with teaching staff to enable participation in school life. Ideal candidates will have SEN experience, be comfortable providing personal care, and enjoy working as part of a supportive school team.

Location: Northampton

Role: Teaching Assistant - Personal Care

Hours: Flexible - 1 to 5 days per week

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for Personal Care Teaching Assistants to support a SEN school in Northampton. The school has a range of flexible shift patterns available, from one day per week through to full-time, Monday-Friday positions. The role will involve supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including providing personal care and day-to-day support where required. You will work closely with teaching staff to help pupils access learning and participate in school life.

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN and/or additional needs
• Have experience providing personal care support
• Be confident supporting pupils with a range of needs and abilities
• Be patient, compassionate and comfortable working as part of a wider school team
• Have a positive and proactive approach to supporting pupils
