Requirements:

• Communicative English, both verbal and written
• At least 6 months’ personal care experience in a similar environment
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check

Job Duties:

• Provide high standards of care and support within your care package
• Enable clients to live their chosen lifestyle independently
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients and their families
• Maintain a safe working environment following health and safety standards
• Act professionally and respectfully towards clients’ property and possessions
• Coordinate with managers and healthcare professionals
• Keep skills up to date through training and refresher courses
• Follow company policies, care standards, and safety regulations
• Manage bowel and bladder care, including catheter care and related procedures
• Assist with pressure sore prevention and repositioning
• Use specialized equipment for moving and handling clients
• Assist with basic physiotherapy movements
• Provide personal hygiene care, including dressing, bathing, and grooming
