Job Description:

Starting as soon as possible, this exciting opportunity for proactive Health Care Support Workers with personal care, medical, and non-verbal experience to work in-home one-to-one with a child with severe medical needs.

This is an ideal opportunity for those seeking an in-home learning and medical support position that challenges you to utilize your knowledge, communication skills, and creativity to develop varied approaches that help pupils understand presented information.

Main Duties

1. Attend to the personal needs of pupils and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first-aid, and welfare matters.
2. Supervise and support pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities during lunchtime.
3. Establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model, responding appropriately to their individual needs, and encouraging interaction and engagement in activities.
4. Prepare the classroom following lunch and clear afterwards.
