A full driving licence is essential as a mobility vehicle is used for activities and appointments.

Qualifications

• Experience with cerebral palsy, epilepsy and learning disabilities is desirable but training will be provided.
• Willingness to learn new skills and work in a small team.
• Hold a full and current driving licence due to access to mobility vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications via PEG safely and timely.
• Provide personal care while respecting privacy and dignity.
• Assist with morning routines to maintain health and wellbeing.
• Support feeding following SALT guidelines.
• Support communication and enable the person to express choices.
• Assist with moving and handling using provided equipment.
• Support attendance at appointments and social activities.
• Coordinate with family and professionals to ensure high-quality care.
• Respect choices, privacy, and dignity, and advocate when appropriate.
• Remain calm and professional in all situations.
