Job summary

Parador Group in the Manchester area is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide dedicated one-to-one support for a male client in Wythenshawe. You will assist with mobility, personal care, meals and daily activities, following an established care plan and reporting changes to the nurse and family.

The role offers full training, clinical oversight, and a rota-based schedule (days and nights).

Qualifications

• Compassionate and person-centred care experience preferred.
• Strong communication with client, family and healthcare professionals.
• Calm, patient, and confident approach.
• Driver with UK licence preferred (25+ for business insurance).
• Experience using ceiling hoists is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, person-centred care in line with the client’s care plan.
• Support independence and encourage engagement.
• Assist with meal preparation and support with eating.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with family and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure the client’s environment is safe, calm, and supportive.
• Flexible to work both days and nights.
