Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant for Elizabeth Court, a specialist unit delivering tailored care for adults with disabilities and rehabilitation needs. You will support a single resident daily, including outings, shopping and occasional cooking.

A valid driving license and prior care home experience are preferred. The role requires empathy, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently to foster trust and rapport with the resident.

About Elizabeth Court:

Elizabeth Court is a specialist unit comprising of 16 fully en-suite bedrooms care home for younger and older adults Service Users with Learning/Physical Disabilities, Acquired Brain Injury and Degenerative Neurological Disorders, spinal injury, Stoke and rehabilitation, requiring a continuum of care, through a structured program of rehabilitation.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to just one individual in their daily lives. The role will include supporting the individual on outings, shopping and baking/cooking occasionally.

The ideal candidate

Valid driving license with experience.

Previous experience working within a care home or as a personal care assistant is desired.

Strong interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with the resident.

Ability to work independently
