Mowbray Education Trust is recruiting a Personal Care Assistant for Sherard Primary School in Leicestershire. The role runs 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 2:30pm, during term time (38 weeks). The post involves supporting pupils with personal care needs within our Specialist Provision.
The successful candidate will be organised, creative, and proficient with IT, helping prepare learning materials and support across classes as required.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Personal Care Assistant at Sherard Primary school for 20 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, (10:30am - 2.30pm) term-time only (38 weeks). The role will be in the Sherard Specialist Provision.

The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting pupils with their personal care needs. You will work with a number of children with a range of special educational needs e.g., communication difficulties, Autism, ADHD and behaviour difficulties, to support with implementing personal care and toileting programmes.
The successful candidate will need to be an organised and creative person with good IT skills and a commitment to transforming the life choices of young people. You will also need to be confident in the use of IT and be able to assist in preparing materials for lessons
