Job summary

Redhill Primary School in Cannock is seeking a reliable, proactive Caretaker to help maintain our premises to a high standard. This permanent, part-time role focuses on safety, security and creating a welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

Key duties include opening and closing the site, routine maintenance, grounds cleaning, health and safety monitoring, liaising with contractors, managing alarms and access, and supporting setting up rooms for school activities and events.

Job description

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and trustworthy Caretaker to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing the school site as required

Redhill is a newly built one form entry primary school on the edge of Cannock Chase in Staffordshire and has acculture of ambition, high expectation and aspiration academically and in social behaviours of both staff and students.

Actual Salary: £15,804 - £16,573 pro rata
Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week - Full Year
