New Bridge Learning Centre in Oldham is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support pupils with personal care needs, maintaining dignity and wellbeing throughout the school day. You will work as part of a supportive team to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.

The role requires caring, patient and professional individuals who can follow care plans and work across New Bridge sites as needed. Term-time hours are typical with 34 hours per week.

• Has previous experience in a caring, support or personal care role.
• Understands the importance of dignity, privacy and person-centred care.
• Is compassionate, patient and professional.
• Works effectively as part of a team.
• Has good attention to detail and can follow care plans and procedures.
• Is flexible and willing to work across New Bridge sites when required.

We are looking for caring, committed and reliable individuals to join our dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Team.

You will support pupils and students with their personal care and toileting needs, helping to maintain their dignity, comfort, health and wellbeing throughout the school day. Working as part of a supportive team, you will contribute to a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: NJC point 3 - £25,614 (full time/ full year)

Actual salary: £20,318 per annum

Hours: 34 hours / Term Time only (195 days)
