Job summary

Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a female service user in the G20 area of Glasgow. You will assist with personal care, domestic duties and participation in community activities, helping her to care for her two young children.

Experience with Autism/ADHD and challenging behaviour is desirable. Hours are 23 per week, with shifts Tue 9:00–21:00 and Sun 9:00–20:00; occasional extra shifts may be required, including weekends or sleepovers.

Qualifications

• Encouraging participation in local community activities.

Female Personal Assistant

Personal Assistant required by disabled woman living in the G20 area of Glasgow to support her with personal care, domestic duties, community activities and to support her to care for her 2 young children.

Experience supporting children with Autism/ADHD and challenging behaviour is desirable

Hours: 23 hours per week as follows

Tuesday 9.00am – 9.00pm

Sunday 9.00am – 8.00pm

There may be occasions when you will be required to work additional shifts at weekends/sleepovers when other members of the support team are on holiday or on sick leave.

Hourly rate: £14.00 per hour

Experience supporting children with Autism/ADHD and challenging behaviour is desirable
