Job summary

Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living is seeking a Part-time Personal Assistant to support a disabled woman in the G20 area. You will assist with personal care, domestic tasks and accompany her to community activities, including caring for her two young children.

Experience with Autism/ADHD and challenging behaviour is desirable. Shifts include 23 hours per week, with sleepovers and occasional weekend cover. Hourly rates are £13.45 (sleepovers) and £14.00 (daytime).

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with Autism/ADHD and challenging behaviour is desirable
• Experience in personal care and domestic tasks is helpful

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care and daily domestic tasks for the client
• Assist with community activities and transport where needed
• Support the client to care for her two young children
• Occasional additional shifts at weekends or sleepovers when colleagues are away

Female Personal Assistant

Personal Assistant required by disabled woman living in the G20 area of Glasgow to support her with personal care, domestic duties, community activities and to support her to care for her 2 young children.

Experience supporting children with Autism/ADHD and challenging behaviour is desirable

Hours: 23 hours per week as follows

Monday 6.00pm – 9.00am

There may be occasions when you will be required to work additional shifts at weekends/sleepovers when other members of the support team are on holiday or on sick leave.

Hourly rate: £13.45 per hour for 9 sleepover hours

£14.00 per hour for daytime hours
