Job summary

Enableby is seeking Personal Assistants (Support Workers) to help people live independent lives in Blackburn. You will provide compassionate personal care, support with daily activities, and help people build social connections.

This is a part-time contract, 8 hours per week, with a 9:00–17:00 shift and overtime including overnight support and weekends.

Maureen lives in her own flat, and loves living in the village of Blackburn. A typical day could be going to the knitting or dancing group, then nipping to the shops. Maureen likes to go for a walk every day to keep fit, and loves the beautiful Dunecht Estate especially. In her downtime, Maureen loves to keep up the soaps on TV, and she is a whizz at the game shows too. Maureen receives support 7 days a week, from 09:00 - 17:00 an 17:00 to overnight with staff sleeping over. It is not always possible for Maureen to enjoy life's 'simple pleasures' in her community without proper, dedicated support.
