Job summary

Enable by is seeking Female Personal Assistants (Support Workers) in Kilwinning, North Ayrshire to provide care and companionship to Lucas, a person who requires 24-hour support. The role involves helping with daily living, personal care, moving and handling, and supporting Lucas to pursue his goals and enjoy activities in the community.

Shifts run 8am to 8am with overnight support; a 15-hour contract is available.

Lucas loves being outdoors, going for long walks (especially on those rare sunny days in Scotland) and just being as generally active as possible. A typical day could be going to the shops to ensure Lucas has all the essentials he needs, or even just to have a wander around his local community. In his downtime, Lucas enjoys watching movies, playing board games and socialising with friends. Lucas receives support 24 hours a day, usual shift times between the hours of 8am and 8am. Sadly, it's not always possible for Lucas to enjoy what many people would consider these 'simple pleasures' without proper, dedicated support.
