Job summary

ENABLE Scotland in Lanark is seeking Personal Assistants (Support Workers) to make a positive difference in the lives of the people they support. You will assist with personal care and mobility, following individual support plans to help people achieve their goals, while promoting independence and social engagement.

Join a bespoke team focusing on safety, wellbeing and aspirations; the role offers variety and meaningful impact in a social care charity environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt communication style to develop successful relationships with people supported.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care as needed, including moving and handling and positive behavioural support.
• Support individuals to achieve goals and outcomes through personalised plans.
• Help people expand social networks and participate in activities and hobbies.
• Work within a bespoke team to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.

Each person we support has different support requirements, so your support worker role may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections.
