Job summary

Enable is seeking Personal Assistants in Giffnock to support Colin with daily living, personal care and social activities. Shifts are either 9am–3.30pm or 3.30pm–10pm, with a weekly pattern across seven days. No prior care experience is required; values and transferable skills are valued for building trusting relationships.

These roles offer meaningful work in a supportive charity, giving you the chance to help someone achieve goals and maintain independence in their community.

Colin loves being outdoors, going for long walks (especially on those rare sunny days in Scotland) and just being as generally active as possible. A typical day could be going to the shops to ensure Colin has all the essentials he needs, meeting up with peers at the local clubs in his community. In his downtime, Colin enjoys a foot Spa, sensory activities, taking photos. Colin receives support 7 days a week usually between the hours of 9am and 10pm, Colin requires support with personal care and maintaining the up keep of his home.
