Lancashire Independent Living Service is seeking Personal Assistants in the Ribbleton, Preston area to support a twelve-year-old with additional needs at home and in the community. You will assist with personal care, feeding, hygiene and safety, and enable independence through activities and outings.

Experience in a similar role and excellent communication skills are essential. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required; mileage is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Driver with a full clean licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care including getting ready for/after school, toileting and showering.
• Support feeding and daily personal hygiene.
• Provide supervision and safety when accessing the local community.
• Help with social activities such as swimming, trampolining, parks or arts and crafts.
• Hours before/after school during term time; up to 26 hours per week; up to 34 hours out of term.
