Job summary

ILA Self Directed Support Forth Valley in Stirling is seeking a Personal Assistant/ Care Support Worker for a permanent, long-term role supporting a 58-year-old woman with personal and social care needs.

The position involves providing personal assistance, mobility support, meal prep, household tasks and community engagement on-site in Stirling. Part-time, 15 hours weekly, with flexible pattern and some interview flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Employer with personal care and daily personal needs (showering and dressing)
• Assisting the Employer with mobility needs (transferring between wheelchair and mobility scooter)
• Assisting the Employer with meal preparation
• Assisting the Employer with cleaning and household duties (e.g. laundry)
• Assisting the Employer with accessing activities in the community
• Assisting the Employer with social interactions
• Any other duties commensurate with the role of Care Support Worker / Personal Assistant

Hours: 15 hours per week (approx. 5 hours per day with some flexibility) over three out of seven days. Work patterns to be agreed at interview.

Location: Stirling

Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour Gross

Description:

A Care Worker/ Personal Assistant is required on a permanent and long term basis, by the employer a 58-year-old woman, to assist with their personal and social care requirements. They are looking for someone who is reliable, committed and genuinely interested in a stable, long-term position helping someone live life to the fullest.
