Job summary

ILA Self Directed Support Forth Valley is seeking a Care Worker / Personal Assistant to support a woman (40) with M.E./chronic fatigue syndrome. The role includes basic personal care, preparing meals, and helping with general household tasks.

Shifts are on-site in Strathblane with one weekend per week (Saturday or Sunday), 3–7 hours between 10am and 5pm, plus optional Monday afternoons. Hourly rate is £13.45.

Qualifications

• Basic personal care and assisting the person to complete everyday tasks.
• Food preparation and simple home cooking.
• Assisting the person to complete general housework.
• Any other task commensurate with the role of Personal Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for daily activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed.
• Help with light household chores and domestic tasks.
• Support the client to stay safe and comfortable at home.
