To provide high quality, confidential, and effective administrative and practical support to a social worker who has a disability, enabling them to carry out their professional duties efficiently. The post holder will help remove barriers to work, support reasonable adjustments, and ensure the smooth organisation of tasks, communication, and workload demands within the social care team.
Enhanced DBS clearance required.
Due to the personal care requirements of the role and in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, this post is restricted to female applicants only, as the individual being supported is a blind female employee and requires assistance of a gender-sensitive nature.
The postholder will need to travel across the borough to support meetings or visits (travel arrangements can be adjusted in line with the social worker’s needs). You must have access to your own car and be able to drive the social worker to community visits as part of the role. Appropriate business insurance will be required, and mileage will be reimbursed in line with policy.
As this is an agency assignment, employment terms will align with agency arrangements.
