Job summary

Self Direct Support Options Fife is seeking a reliable caregiver to support a 72-year-old gentleman in day-to-day living in his home in Scotland. You will help with personal care, meals, light housework, and morning routines including getting up and showered.

The role requires a caring, patient attitude and ideally experience in care or support work. An enhanced PVG check is required to proceed with the role.

• Experience in care or support work preferred.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and caring person to support a 72-year-old gentleman with day-to-day living and provide some respite for a family member.

Within this role there will be personal care, meal prep and light housework. The client would like some assistance to get up in the morning, showered and changed

The gentleman has a brain injury but communicates his needs well. He has a keen interest in 60's and 70's music. Applicants should have a positive attitude, a good sense of humour, and ideally some experience in care or support work.

This role requires an enhanced check through PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups).
