Job summary

Disability North is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a tetraplegic lady in her 60s in daily living. You will join a small team of two and provide personal care, meal prep, light housework and shopping as needed.

The role requires flexibility, reliability and a considerate approach; full training will be given for all tasks, with care taking place on a day-to-day basis. Female applicants preferred, with prior social care experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care is preferred.
• Ability to perform personal care tasks safely.
• Willingness to complete training.

Job description

A personal assistant to work in a team of 2, is required to support a tetraplegic lady in her 60's with personal care. Support will include bathing, dressing, light household duties, meal preparation and occasional shopping. Full training will be given for all tasks. Personal care will be single handed.

She has a young outlook and enjoys activities such as days out, swimming, attending the gym, going to the cinema, theatre and holidays.

Female PA's are preferred. Previous experience of working in a social care setting would be an advantage.
