Cornwall Council is seeking a caring Personal Assistant to support a 14-year-old boy with autism in Penzance. You will help him access social and leisure activities and accompany him on local outings to parks, pools, and community events.

Focus is on building confidence, independence and essential life skills, with DBS checks and private family arrangements in place. Mileage is reimbursed at 55p per mile.

Mileage will be paid at 55p per mile when the young person is travelling in your vehicle.

The successful applicant will be employed directly by the family under a private arrangement and will not be employed by Cornwall Council.
