Ceredigion County Council seeks an enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support an 18-year-old in enjoying daily activities and building everyday skills. The role includes assisting with meals, personal care, and household tasks, and providing a welcoming, safe home environment on weekends from Friday to Sunday.

The ideal candidate is active, patient and caring, able to help the employer participate in activities and feel supported during respite breaks away from home.

Responsabilités

• Support with daily activities such as swimming, gardening, shopping and outdoor adventures as described in the role.

• Offer regular respite care on weekends (Friday to Sunday) in a warm, safe home environment.

The Personal Assistant will support me to take part in enjoyable daily activities such as swimming, gardening, shopping and outdoor adventures. The role will also involve helping me develop everyday skills, including cooking, staying safe and taking part in household tasks. Support will be needed with preparing meals and drinks, personal care and carrying out any other reasonable requests made by the employer from time to time.

I am a busy and lively 18-year-old young man with limited communication, looking for an enthusiastic and caring Personal Assistant to support me with regular respite care. I am seeking someone who can welcome me into a suitable, safe and friendly home environment from Friday to Sunday, helping me enjoy meaningful activities, build confidence and have a positive break away from home.
