Job description

Thistle Seafoods is one of the largest family owned manufacturers of quality seafood products in Europe. Our Head Office is based in Peterhead in the North-East of Scotland, and our second site based in Uddingston in the outskirts of Glasgow.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide administrative support to the Company Directors and the Senior Management Team.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Deal with correspondence and phone calls as directed.
  2. Arrange the CEO’s diary as and when required.
  3. Organise meetings and appointments, take accurate minutes of meetings and follow up on updates regarding any actions identified.
  4. Arrange travel, transport, and accommodation.
  5. Organise events and conferences.
  6. Compile and prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  7. Manage databases and filing systems.
  8. Implement and maintain procedures/administrative systems.
  9. Liaise with staff, suppliers, and clients.
  10. Any other miscellaneous and ad hoc tasks as required.

Skills/Personal Attributes

  1. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  3. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
  4. Professional approach and attitude.

Hours of Work

Hours of work will be from 8.00am to 5.00pm.
