ArtsJobs is hiring for a role assisting the Creative Director at art-K, focusing on project support and administration in a growing art education service. art-K is a private art education service that teaches children (who love art!). art-K has developed a specialist art program that tutors art skills to create great pieces of art. We are the largest children's art education service in England, teaching over 7000 children nationally per week!
The purpose of this role is to assist art-K's Creative Director across various functions, including project creation, administration, diary management, planning training, and ad hoc events such as company outings. The successful candidate will support the effectiveness of the Creative Director in managing her office's processes and procedures.
As a growing company, art-K values each staff member. The successful applicant can expect future role development opportunities, including increased hours, role changes within the central team, or teaching roles which may involve relocation to new branches across the UK.
Responsibilities
The role involves supporting the Creative Director with daily tasks and long-term planning, including but not limited to:
Salary: £11,248.64 per year
Schedule: 16 hours per week, including a 30-minute paid break each day
Working hours: Monday 10am - 6pm, Tuesday 10am - 6pm
Location: Conifers, The Warren Ashtead, KT21 2RX. In-person work at art-K's Ashtead HQ is required on Fridays at minimum.
Qualifications: A degree 2:1 is preferable, or relevant experience.
