Job summary

Beaumont in Newtownards is seeking a Personal Activities Leader (24 hrs) to design and deliver engaging activities for residents, drawing on creativity, care experience and a lively approach.

You will assess resident needs, tailor plans, and build strong relationships with residents and families, organising outings and varied programs to promote wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care environment.
• Experience planning and delivering structured activities.

Responsibilities

• Use your creative talents to form the ongoing activities plan for residents.
• Assist in assessing resident needs through meetings with residents, families and staff.
• Support providing stimulation and exercise through a varied activities programme.
• Build relationships with residents and families to gather life story information and update care plans.
• Spend time with residents and staff to create personalised activities aligned with interests.
• Develop community links and arrange trips with varied destinations for residents.
