Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Ferndown-based accountancy practice for a Client Director / Senior Practice Accountant. You will manage a portfolio of clients, review accounts and tax computations, and lead the accounting team to deliver timely services.

Applicants should have at least 3 years in practice, strong technical knowledge of UK taxation, VAT and Corporation Tax, and proven client-facing and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Salary: £32,500 basic + commission, OTE up to £45,000
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing accountancy practice in Ferndown looking for an experienced Practice Accountant to step into a Client Director / Senior Accountant position.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• A minimum of 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong accounts preparation and review experience.
• A good working knowledge of UK taxation, VAT and Corporation Tax.
• Previous experience managing your own portfolio of clients.
• Confidence dealing directly with clients and providing a high level of service.
• Experience supervising, mentoring or developing junior members of staff.
• The ability to manage workloads and competing deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach.
• You may be AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified or part-qualified, although strong relevant practice experience will be particularly important.
