Job description

MPA are seeking a fun, energetic and dependable PermanentPart-Time Personal Carerto assist a friendly and independent young lady living with cerebral palsy. The ideal candidate will have a caring nature and a passion for supporting others to live life as independently and comfortably as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
• Support with mobility and the safe use of mobility aids
• Assist with light domestic tasks such as meal preparation and tidying
• Accompany to appointments, social activities, or outings
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Maintain accurate records of care provided
• Follow care plans and health & safety procedures at all times
• Driving duties essential

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care or support role
• Friendly, patient, and reliable with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Able to assist with mobility support and personal care
• Willing to undergo a DBS check
• NISCC registered
• Flexible and committed to the needs of the individual

Desirable:

• Experience supporting individuals with cerebral palsy or similar conditions
• Health & Social Care qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
• Valid UK driver’s licence
