Job summary

Your Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Steel Erector to join a trusted construction company on a permanent basis near Castlewellan, Northern Ireland. You will work with a site team, following drawings to erect structural steelwork safely and to a high standard.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using hand and power tools, and a flexible approach to travel within ~20 miles. A reliable, team-oriented candidate with safety awareness will fit well.

Qualifications

• Experience as steel erector or similar structural steel role.
• Ability to read and work from drawings.
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Erect and install structural steelwork on site.
• Work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Bolt, fix and align steelwork and assist with positioning of structures.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Travel to sites within approximately 20 miles of Castlewellan.
