Marlin Selection is seeking a professional with a strong background in physical energy trading contracts and LNG knowledge to support trading desks in London. You will draft, review and negotiate agreements, ensuring favourable terms and compliance with commercial guidelines.

• Strong background in physical commodity trading contracts.
• Experience with LNG and refined products contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts for LNG, crude oil products and bio-products to secure favourable terms.
• Collaborate with trading teams to validate entries, keep records and ensure timely trade confirmations.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual/commercial matters and manage trade docs and admin.

Descripción del empleo

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for physical LNG, crude oil products and bio-products, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
• Working closely with trading teams to validate trade entries, maintain accurate trading records and ensure timely trade confirmations and resolution of discrepancies.
• Providing contractual and commercial advice to internal stakeholders, supporting compliance requirements and managing trade documentation and administration.

You will need to have the following experience:

• A strong understanding of the energy trading industry, with a solid contractual background in physical commodity trading.
• Detailed knowledge of LNG and/or refined products trading, with experience in contractual agreements such as general terms and conditions and LNG MSPAs being advantageous.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks, work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
