Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Cannock

• The modern facility has a laboratory, pharmacy, digital x-ray, and ultrasound capabilities.
• Services include routine check-ups, vaccinations, surgeries, dental care, and nutritional advice.
• The practice is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, and on Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm; it is closed on Sundays.
• Free parking is available at the rear of the building.
• The dedicated team is eager to welcome new clients and their pets.

Role:A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy and supportive practice in the South Staffordshire area. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care.

Hours: This full-time position follows a structured rota, including early, mid, and late shifts, along with just one Saturday morning (9 am–1 pm) every four weeks.

Duties:

• The successful candidate will be part of a well-established team, working alongside vets with diverse expertise in both surgical and internal medicine.
• Nurses benefit from 20-minute minimum consults, allowing for excellent patient care, as well as additional time allocated for specialist clinics such as weight management. The role is further supported by dedicated administrative assistance from the Practice Manager.
• The practice encourages nurses with a keen interest in consulting, anaesthesia, or other specialist areas and values contributions towards clinical discussions. Regular fortnightly governance meetings provide an opportunity for case reviews, idea sharing, and continuous improvement.
