Job summary

Premier Inn in Staines-upon-Thames is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to help prepare, cook and plate meals for guests. You’ll work across breakfast and dinner service, receive deliveries, help keep the kitchen clean and ensure fast, friendly service during busy periods.

You don’t need hotel experience – we’ll teach you the rest. This is a permanent role with guaranteed hours, offering day-one training, staff discounts and a clear path to progression within Premier Inn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right
• This isn't a role where you'll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up
• You'll be part of a team that's working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on
• Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs
• If you're willing to learn, we'll teach you the rest
• You might have worked as a Catering Assistant, Barista, Kitchen Porter, Retail Assistant, Warehouse Operative
• This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before
• What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don't mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy
• You'll build kitchen skills, food safety knowledge and confidence working in a team
• Some people stay because they love the team. Others use the experience to move into other parts of Premier Inn
