Job summary

Stobart (Part Of The Culina Group) is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a permanent tramping role in Appleton, Warrington. You will undertake nationwide UK deliveries with a modern fleet and may assist with Formula 1 and international events logistics during season peaks.

The role offers steady full-time work, a competitive salary and night out allowance, with progression within a growing transport and logistics business that prioritises safety, reliability and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence required.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points, no DD/DR convictions.
• Flexible to tramping and away from home.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide deliveries and collections across the UK.
• General haulage and tramping operations.
• RDC deliveries and collections.
• Trunking and distribution work.
• Customer deliveries and collections.
• Drop and swap operations.
• Ensure goods are transported safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Adhere to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

We are recruiting professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team based in Appleton, Warrington. This role offers regular UK-wide general haulage tramping work, modern equipment, and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a successful transport and logistics business. For drivers looking to broaden their experience, there may also be opportunities to support our specialist Formula 1 and international events logistics division during the events season. The Role

• Nationwide deliveries and collections across the UK.
• General haulage and tramping operations.
• RDC deliveries and collections.
• Trunking and distribution work.
• Customer deliveries and collections.
• Drop and swap operations.
• Ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Adhering to Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism.Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
