Job summary

Aspire People is partnering with a trust to appoint a Head of School for their specialist SEN/SEMH setting, starting in September in the Tameside/Wythenshawe area. This permanent post suits a qualified teacher or leader with strong SEN expertise and a strategic approach.

You will lead the behaviour team, work with therapists and parents, and implement strategies to support pupils with Autism, ADHD and SEMH, driving positive outcomes year on year.

Qualifications

• Must have QTS or NPQ SEN.
• Extensive leadership experience within SEND and inclusion.
• Fair but firm approach and strategic mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the behaviour team.
• Support pupils with a range of SEN including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning difficulties.
• Collaborate with support staff, therapists and parents to secure the best outcomes.
• Use a range of strategies to support behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of pupil achievement.
