Job summary

CDM Recruitment is seeking a Production Electrician to join our manufacturing team in Cramlington, focusing on electrical build and wiring of Air Handling Units (AHUs).

You will read and interpret electrical drawings to install control panels, lighting, isolators and related components, ensuring high quality, safe installations and adherence to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. The role is a full-time on-site position within a collaborative production environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Experience as an electrician in manufacturing/production environment desirable.
• Experience wiring electrical panels and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Wiring and installation of electrical control panels.
• Electrical wiring of AHUs and associated equipment.
• Installation and wiring of lighting systems within AHUs.
• Installation and wiring of electrical isolators and components.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Carrying out cable routing, termination and connection work.
• Testing and fault-finding electrical installations.
• Ensure work complies with electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet schedules.
