• Leadership of delegated staff including performance management and escalation to senior colleagues
• Experience with operating department management elements and rota coordination

Responsabilidades

• Organise human and physical resources in clinical care and escalate to Department Clinical Leads as appropriate
• Assess care during perioperative and postoperative periods
• Develop and evaluate programmes of care including discharge planning from the theatre suite
• Provide skilled assistance to anaesthetists and surgeons in the Operating Department
• Respond effectively to emergencies and complete ILS and PILS training to be part of the 2222 emergency team
• Act as a role model to junior colleagues in patient care and lead staff appraisals and return-to-work interviews
• Promote professional conduct aligned with NMC and HCPC codes and Trust policies
• Support theatre utilisation and cross-team communication between theatres and surgical wards
