Job summary

The Hamptons Hospital in Peterborough is seeking a registered Operating Department Practitioner to deliver patient-centred care across the perioperative pathway. You will support anaesthetic, scrub and recovery teams, maintain sterile technique, and safeguard patient safety.

Applicants must hold HCPC registration, an ODP qualification, and current ALS/ILS where required, with experience in a day-case perioperative environment. This is an on-site, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Qualified ODP with HCPC registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification.
• Experience in perioperative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate perioperative care.
• Support anaesthetists and scrub teams during procedures.
