Job summary

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust is seeking ODPs, anaesthetic trained theatre nurses and scrub staff to join our General Theatres team. You will help deliver perioperative care across multiple specialties and work with anaesthetists, surgeons and theatre staff to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

You will operate in a large theatre environment with opportunities to contribute across cath labs, obstetrics, endoscopy, MRI, IR and CT as part of the broader perioperative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in perioperative care across theatre disciplines preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy surgical environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with anaesthetists, surgeons and nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-focused perioperative care.
• Assist anaesthetists and surgeons; ensure equipment is prepared and sterile.
• Coordinate workload for theatre lists and manage resources.
