Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Salford is seeking dedicated Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) or NMC registered nurses with an accredited anaesthetic qualification to join our dynamic theatre team.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Nursing studies or Operating Department Practice or equivalent.
• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or ODP with HCPC registration.
• Ability to converse in English and communicate with the public.
• Willing to undertake internal and external training.
• Desirable: interest or experience in caring for patients in theatre.

Responsibilities

• Read the Job Description and Person Specification under the supporting documents.
• Deliver specialist care in state-of-the-art operating theatres (Trauma Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynaecology, General Surgery).
• Supervise and mentor junior and unregistered staff, including students and trainees.
