Job summary

Healthcare Support Worker sought for the Rosewood Mother & Baby Unit within Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust. You will join a multi-disciplinary team, delivering high-quality nursing care for mothers with acute perinatal mental health needs and their babies, and supporting the care plan under supervision.

The role requires shift work across 24 hours, including nights, with potential assignments at other Trust sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care under MDT according to the mother's care plan.
• Supervise Healthcare Workers and Apprentice Healthcare Support Workers; provide guidance and training as appropriate.
• Act as a role model to colleagues and mothers.
• Monitor, report and maintain a healthy, safe and secure workplace in line with Health and Safety regulations and Trust policies.
• Record accurately all care on the electronic patient record system and validate entries.
