Job summary

Northampton School, part of The NSB Trust, is seeking a versatile Performing Arts Technician to join the growing team at our brand-new site. The role supports students’ learning in the classroom and in extracurricular activities, working closely with music staff and other colleagues.

Flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate performances throughout the year. Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential; a musical background is desirable.

• Great organisational skills and a self-starter attitude.
• Motivated, flexible and resilient with a proactive approach.
• Excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
• Professional and good communicator when working with staff, students and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support students’ learning in the classroom and in extracurricular provision.
• Collaborate with our music staff and other school staff.
• Be flexible to support a small number of performances each year.
