Brighton College invites applications for a Performing Arts Duty Manager (Zero-hours). Based in the Richard Cairns Building, you will ensure facilities are clean, safe and welcoming and that events run smoothly with outstanding customer service.
You will lead on-site during performances, supervise staff, open and close the building, coordinate with facilities teams and uphold health and safety policies. The role is ad-hoc across the year, at £16.26 per hour including holiday pay.

Main purpose of the role: The Performing Arts Duty Manager will work as part of a team to take responsibility for the operation and management of the Richard Cairns Building. You will ensure that the facilities are kept to the highest standard and that exceptional levels of customer service are always delivered.
Role Summary
The Performing Arts Duty Manager plays a key role within the Performing Arts Team, supporting the patrons and other users of the Richard Cairns Building with the operational resource requirements for their events. The ideal candidate will be someone with a passion for theatre, music and live events, as well as being customer-focused and willing to go the extra mile.

This is an all-year round (52 weeks) appointment on a zero-hour basis. The services you provide to the College will be on an ad-hoc basis. This means that whilst the College will try to give you as much notice as possible when offering work, there is no obligation on the part of the College to provide such work nor for you to accept any work offered.
Further discussions will take place at interview regarding availability of ad-hoc hours.
Remuneration:
£16.26 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.
Holidays:
Holiday entitlement is included in the hourly pay rate for this role.
