Job summary

DCV Technologies in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to own non‑functional test delivery, ensuring performance, scalability, stability, and reliability under peak workloads. The role requires extensive LoadRunner/Performance Centre experience and collaboration with business, architecture, development and infrastructure teams.

The positions are contracting, with hybrid office requirements and three days in the office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands‑on experience in delivering non‑functional test engagements
• Experience with LoadRunner/Performance Centre and related tools
• Experience delivering performance testing across cloud and legacy environments

Responsibilities

• Understand performance test requirements and prepare test plan
• Create and update performance test scripts and test data
• Conduct performance test execution and analyze results
• Identify performance bottlenecks and communicate risks to project teams
• Prepare Performance Test Summary reports
• Identify risks and issues and develop mitigation plans
• Produce daily and weekly status reports
• Capture performance metrics and keep knowledge repositories up to date
• Deliver end‑to‑end performance test delivery for assigned applications
