Job description

Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before?

How we started:

Back in 2013, our founder Dwayne D'Souza saw an opportunity to give people faster and more convenient access to medications using technology. We've grown rapidly since our inception, without any external funding whatsoever – achieving profitability through innovation and a highly disciplined approach to growth.

Where we are now:

We've earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through our top-selling products and well-known brands: MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A lot of our success is down to having our own pharmacies, manufacturers and products – spearheaded by leading in-house medical teams, researchers and pharmacists. Our 2023 global revenue was $80m, and we're set to more than double this in 2024 as we look to surpass $200m and positively impact the daily lives of more people than ever before. There's never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX.

Where we're going:

Over the next five years, you'll support our goal to become a world-leading healthcare partner, deepening our customer relationships, expanding into new countries, and diversifying our product portfolio to treat more conditions. You'll be part of helping more people access prescription treatments and, most importantly, making personalised care better, quicker and easier for everyone.

Come be a part of making our dream of easier and faster healthcare a reality!

About the role:

Our goal is to become a truly global digital healthcare brand, and in Q1 2025, we're taking our first step toward EU expansion with our launch in Germany!

We're looking for an ambitious, experienced B2C Performance Marketing Manager with a proven track record managing a sizable budget within a startup or scale up environment. Our ideal candidate will be extremely analytical, data-driven, collaborative, and ready to roll up their sleeves.

Are you an analytical thinker by nature and you won't stop until you get all the answers to any performance deviations? Do you want to be part of a bootstrapped scale up in health experiencing unprecedented growth? Then keep reading …

This is a full time, permanent role based in the UK, with a hybrid working arrangement (our offices are in Central London and we're ideally looking for two days per week on site).

What you'll be doing:

  1. Own the end-to-end performance of 2+ marketing channels. Paid search and paid social to start, but then expanding out as we grow.
  2. Execute our acquisition strategy in Germany, with a strong focus on LTV/CAC optimisation on a weekly basis.
  3. Report on weekly performance, including insights, actions and experiment results to the wider growth department and close collaborators.
  4. Strive to stay on top of new trends, beta access to products on Meta/Google, creative concepts, tools, and more. We have a thriving experimentation culture and we want you to be an active contributor to it!
  5. Obsess over competitors' ads and general paid social trends to create inspiring briefs for the creative team and contribute to the periodic brainstorming sessions.
  6. Leverage our marketing analytics tool (Amplitude) to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across paid social campaigns to identify opportunities for the CRO team. Think funnels, campaign performance and trend analysis, all paired with relevant customer insights.
  7. Produce your own quarterly forecasts and roadmaps, and share them with senior leadership.

Who you are:

  1. German fluent speaker (where you're based currently is less important!).
  2. 4+ years of professional experience managing performance marketing channels, with at least 2 in D2C high performance environments.
  3. Very strong knowledge of paid social acquisition channels. In this role you will be working as a strategist and individual contributor.
  4. Success driving experiments to improve LTV or significantly reduce CPA to meet LTV/CAC targets.
  5. You have worked closely with brand and/or creative teams to develop ad concepts and hooks that are highly effective.
  6. You're highly analytical and data-driven! Sometimes maybe even too much. And you're able to draw insights from ongoing analysis and connect them to customer problems/needs.
  7. Above all, you're growth-minded and known for solving performance challenges as they come. You don't know it all, but you're a fast learner. When you don't have all the answers in front of you, you're resourceful to seek them. You have good days and bad days, but the performance improvement journey keeps you energised and motivated.
