Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Thirsk, UK, is seeking a Performance & Capability Coordinator for a 12-month FTC onsite role. You will lead performance data capture, analysis, and insights, manage the training system (POKA), and drive capability-building across the site to improve skills and operational results.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level qualifications – GCSE or A Level.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Query (desirable).
• Experience in Food manufacturing setting would be beneficial, but not essential.

• Lead the collation, validation, and reporting of site performance and quality data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Analyze operational performance trends and develop reports, BI dashboards, and provide recommendations on a regular basis.
• Automate current data recording methods using BI tools.
• Maintain and administer the site's training management system (POKA), ensuring training records are accurate, compliant, and kept up to date.
• Liaise with the Production Managers, supervisors and key stakeholders to ensure data is leading to actionable insights.
• Coordinate and support training, onboarding, and capability-building programs to maintain and further develop workforce skills.
• Maintain training matrices, competency frameworks, and skills records.
• Monitor compliance with mandatory training requirements.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement by using performance data to identify root causes, track improvement initiatives, and measure the impact of corrective actions.
