Performance and Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and dynamic individual to join the Surgery and Planned Care Division at the Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Performance and Operations Manager, supporting the General Manager to deliver high quality services.

Working collaboratively with the Clinical Lead, Clinicians and Matrons, the Performance and Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management of the operational functions within one of the Division's Clinical business units.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will effectively and efficiently manage the service's performance, ensuring the relevant standards are achieved and taking corrective action when required.

You will also monitor the operational performance of the department, escalating issues where appropriate. This may involve the analysis and interpretation of complex facts or situations and may involve the comparison of a range of options.

• Experience of line managing staff
• Experience of working in an Acute NHS Trust.
