Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a per diem MFM Sonographer at Winchester Hospital to independently operate ultrasound equipment and perform detailed high-risk obstetric examinations. The role contributes to safety, quality, and a positive patient experience within the Radiology team.

The ideal candidate will have ARDMS certification (or registry eligible) with NT certification within 12 months and BLS. This part-time position supports daily operations and patient care in a busy perinatal imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• 3 years experience performing high risk OB ultrasound.
• ARDMS certification or registry eligible; NT certification within 12 months; Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Educates and informs patients and family members throughout the patient experience.
• Communicates effectively with the healthcare team using established handoff procedures.
• Produces clinical assessment and detailed diagnostic sonography examinations as requested by the physician.
• Uses advanced sonographic skills to differentiate normal vs. pathologic findings and documents findings.
• Performs NT studies and coordinates the sonography lab operations with the supervisor.
• Maintains ultrasound equipment and supplies, assisting with accreditation processes.
