Job summary

Coastland College is seeking a skilled People Services Team Lead to join the People Team and deliver a modern, compliant service across the College. You will oversee employee lifecycle administration, safeguarding compliance and payroll-related processes, ensuring an excellent service for managers and colleagues.

You will lead the People Services Team, drive service excellence, and improve processes to support a positive employee experience across both Weymouth and Kingston Maurward campuses.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, supervising or coordinating a People, HR, customer service or operational administration team.
• Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and People Services operations.
• Experience in regulated environments with safeguarding and safer recruitment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the People Services Team to high performance and service standards.
• Oversee employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, changes and leavers with accuracy.
• Ensure payroll changes are processed accurately and within deadlines.
• Own safeguarding compliance and SCR management.
• Lead safer recruitment processes and ensure policy compliance.
• Support policy implementation and continuous improvement of People Services.
