Ashley Kate are excited to be supporting our client based in the Midlands as they recruit into their HR team.

Are you a systems-savvy, data-driven HR Operations Manager?

If so, this role could be for you!

The role:
  1. Support operational areas of the business - warehouse, driving, retail
  2. Management of 2 staff - develop, mentor, and support their growth
  3. Oversee HRIS - responsible for data, analytics, reporting, and action planning
  4. Support and partner with senior leaders within operational areas in absence, performance, employee relations
  5. Leadership development - support management teams in upskilling for higher performance
  6. Implementation of new policies - ensure policies are up-to-date, aligned with current changes, and regularly reviewed and implemented
  7. Support HR Business Partner - in the rollout and implementation of HR initiatives around engagement, wellbeing, talent, and succession
  8. Oversee Payroll - ensure process accuracy

We seek an experienced HR Operational Manager with:

  • Experience within logistics, manufacturing, distribution, or retail
  • Strong data and tech savviness
  • Good employment law knowledge
  • CIPD qualification

This role is based in Lichfield on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel to other sites if required.
